Organ Recital Tour John Power. Sunday 21 September 2008
Glasgow Doors Open Weekend.
2-manual organ by Arthur E Ingram of Edinburgh (Floruit 1894-1956). Both the church building and organ have a fascinating history. The building which was originally Titwood Parish Church was dismantled stone by stone and re-erected at the present site. Before installation at St James' Pollok, the organ was first built in St Matthew's Blythswood, a church building now more familiar as Renfield St Stephen's in Bath Street.

  • My dear Mum was a member of this church for many years, and I went to Church with her every Sunday. I was married in this beautiful church by the Rev.. James Currie the then Minister who was a wonderful man. This brings back to me many many happy memories, not only of my Dear Mum,this Church, but where I once lived so many years ago.
