  • Only the conductor Andrew Lyon is American. The orchestra is Ukrainian in Kiev.

The music is great in any nationality, is'nt it?

  • I like it at this speed. I did this song for my music assessment and it's just beautiful :) Maybe I'm just used to this tempo but it sounds really weird when it's fast to me!

  • So hauntingly beautiful. It stirs my soul..

  • we are playing this in my youth symphony..sooo beautiful!

  • i think it sounds nice and depressing :D

but the flute's vibrato is too wide at some parts, sounds unnatural

  • I find it a little too slow. The flute player must even interrupt the beautiful theme to breathe where he shouldn´t. We mustn´t forget it´s a dance. It usually happens: once Ravel was very upset because his "Pavane pour une infante défunte" had been played too slow and said: "It´s the infant who is dead, not the pavane!!"

  • Sameeee :D Viola ftw<3

  • Beautiful piece.

  • same here....butterfingerswan91

  • The perfect tempo. The sadness is beautiful.

  • I play viola for this song.. -_-" The running parts is like wow! HAha
