@AVFCsi02 What the fuck are you talking about? Banks was not world class? You are either a) a mental patient; b) 14 years old; c) thinking of someone else; d) someone who knows nothing about football or ( as I suspect) all of the above. Pele (you know who that is right?) said of Banks after that famous save in 1970, that it was the greatest save he'd ever seen from the greatest 'keeper he'd ever seen.

@RelaxItsJustAFlare I agree that with the new diving laws England need to focus more on technique, but that's not why we lose. It's confidence and discipline in my opinion. Mainly discipline (eg. Rooney can't even control himself against a Montenegro team when we've already qualified for the tournament, Terry runs up into attack against Germany leaving gaps all over the place, Capello caves to public pressure and brings on Joe Cole). It's all poor displays of mental character.

@MrAnthropophagy you have to remember Barcelona are an exceptional team. This is all knee-jerk reactions, 5 years ago Spain were not even a top 5 team. England don't have to play like Spain to win, they just have to be confident in playing their own game. Germany have never been technically advanced but they never have any problems. This guy complained about the Jabulani during the 2010WC calling it a 'disgrace', the next day they had Seedorf on and he was putting it top corner with ease.

The problem with English football = The FA. Sack the inept cunts. They lost control of international football tournaments years ago and now they've lost control of European club football. FIFA and Sky are corrupt but football was the FA's to lose so they should shut the fuck up about poppies and Blatter and accept it was their responsibility in the first place. Greedsters gonna greed, it was their job to protect football from the snake pit and they fucking failed royally.

@CMob09 yeah thats the problem.

But most of the best players in the Spanish league are Spanish, LOL !

Football in England has lost it's grass roots, when big business takes over you lose the common touch.
Just look at british workplaces today, tapid places where if you show any flair or change the rules your frowned on.
It's the same in football, if a kid shows some flair he's dropped from the team because he's too risky with the ball.
It's the reason why Britain will be a crap hole in twenty years time, skills are no longer valued and risk takers are frowned on.
I couldn't agree more with this bloke. I remember an interview with Xavi Hernandez when he said that in England when a defender clears the ball into the stands the crowd applauds. In Barcelona the crowd would whistle and boo him as it shows he is not comfortable with the ball and he is weak.

He's spot on. He's highlighted the reasons England will never win the WC again.
