I never prepare asparagus by steaming or boiling the hell out of it .
Doing that is such a waste of taste!
I just simply grill it.
It's a great part of any home-cooked meal.
1. Cut the hard ends off cleaned asparagus.
2. Place asparagus in a low flat container.
3. Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil on the asparagus just enough to cover.
4. Sprinkle lightly with fine sea salt.
5. On a high heated dry grill pan, using tongs, grill asparagus until it turns dark.
6. Serve and enjoy.
The other veggies I was preparing at that time were potatoes and brussel sprouts.
They had to be boiled for mashing and lets face it, you really have to boil the heck out of brussel sprouts.
