Funny how this video attracts all the anti-Libera and anti-boychoir folks ;) I like both versions. They shouldn't be compared, just appreciated separately. Why is a girl on a high note more "sincere" than a pre-pubescent boy on a high note? Both are human voices. To me, the girls have more adult voices, which gives their rendition a more human, here-on-Earth sound. The Libera boys have that ephemeral (because short-lived) treble voice, so their rendition reminds me of angels. Both are good.

Anna Carolina Curioni's young voice is quite pure and perfect for proper vocal training. I wish we could have heard more of the song as a solo from her rather than from the whole choral group, even though it was quite lovely.  Thanks for posting!
