Organic Fertilizer

Basic thoughts on organic fertlizers. Do it! Make the switch from synthetic to organic. The organic fertilizers are so much better for you plants. Take care of your dirt! If you concentrate on taking care of the dirt, the dirt will take care of the plants... and the plants will take care of you- in the form of great looking, super-nutritious vegetables.

Milorganite is awesome. It's great to use a product that is only 80 miles or so away from Chicago and it's suburbs. Another perspective on being a locavore is to also use products that are local.
