I don't know who you are, but if i wasn't already engaged to be married, i would seriously ask you out. A guy with long hair who plays the guitar and has a pet chinchilla = hat trick! (But I'm assuming you've got a girlfriend anyway -- who else would have been holding the camera?)

your powers of deduction are excellent -- only a significant other would put up with filming this sort of thing. it works out, as she doesn't like being on camera, though i don't understand why.
thanks, though. enjoy the other chinnie videos. :-)

yeah, this class of critter is pretty irresistible. chinchillas are actually in the same genus as guinea pigs (hystricomorphs), though my quick search on the term just now usually sees them referred to in scientific literature as "hystricomorph rodents". *shrug*
wish your squirrel a happy new year for me.

i hope my chinchilla will play guitar with me, too! i am getting him on tuesday and i really can't wait. and about minor chords: the dissonance probably feels funny to him, as it should. i love the way they sound but you can definitely tell when the frequencies are bouncing off eachother like that. maybe he's just more sensitive to it! very cute

chinchillas tend to be very individual in how they behave. loki seems to love the guitar; his mom ignores it completely. i hope you have fun figuring out what your chinnie likes and that you get many enjoyable years together!
