@MrGuccijames Jailbreaking allows you to alter your iPhone. Downloading cracked apps is not necessary, it's just an option.

since I've connected my iPhone 4s to iTunes did it automatically save the previous software in case i want to undo the jailbreak, or do i have to do something different

i jailbroke my iphone 4s running ios 5.0 and it wont restore. I tried restoring with downloaded ipsw softwares 5.0 and 5.0.1 but both didnt work. in itunes i got errors 21,1600, and 1604. I tried using different computers but that didnt work either. My phone is stuck at the connect to itunes screen. What do i do because i have to go to the verizon store tomorrow to see if they can fix it if i cant? I dont care if its jailbroken or not. I just want my iphone to work
