@menzhi - Whoa there buddy. No where do we ever mention incest! The dark secret is that Johnny feels some responsibility for what happened to his brother.. the accident that left him "slow" and also a great deal of resentment because he has to take care of Billy for the rest of his life. Incest between brothers is not a movie we would ever make.

why wouldn't you make a movie about brothers in love? I like movie makers to push all boundries with movies as that is real life as well. Don't just focus on the sex there is more to relationships than that even if it is included in the story. It can be deeper (not that I have experienced it but there are real life stories of tender brothers in love). All true love is precious even if it challenges our social norms.

@menzhi - no, it's not Max and Iago - I know that storyline; it's Max and (I'll go google, hold on) - Ok, I was wrong, it's Harry and Max and it is strange and intense and sorta compelling.

@jhr459<<Hey.. I agree Starcross ends badly. The other, a Spanish-speaking movie, I cant remember the foreign language title. That was brothers in love, incestuous love that really last almost a lifetime, where the father is actually aware of their affair. I Iove the lovemaking tho. haha.. As for Max & Iago, if you referring to this Spanish series, they are not brothers. I dunno many of similar theme movie. But you may want to check out a very short movie Brother's Kiss by MrCandysteph. Hv fun!

@menzhi - I haven't seen many films that depict brothers in love. Starcrossed is one and it ends very badly. Max and ?(I forget now) is another and it is interesting. And then the Brazilian one (which the name of escapes me now and I don't feel like googling it) is the best of the lot. Any others?
