May 3rd, 2010 is World Press Freedom day. A group of individuals, activists and officers from Centre for Independent Journalist have gathered at the KLCC for a flashmob by reading the newspapers upside down.

Wong Chin Huat said it is a freedom of expression where people goes to KLCC on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and read the papers upside-down.

However, another group who called themselves NGOs claimed that Wong's side is not being fair to mainstream media. CJ Lilian asked Mohd. Hishamuddin who is the spokesperson if he is linked to any political party as she noted that they were holding Harakah Daily and Suara Keadilan. He said he is from Kelab Pemuda Prihatin Putrajaya. However, a Google search proved otherwise.
