@MrMarrok657 clearly not up on your history there, the U.S did the same for the british during the second world war, making pistols and also if you search for "a savage No.4 Lee Enfield" that is a british rifle that was produced by the United states, also made by many other countries.

@DEOXYS987
If your talking about the bolt, it's not blued, it's the lighting. As for the rest. Every Mosin I've had was blued.

my question for you is. Why did you say Remington Mosin? Remington had nothing to do with the rifle.

@MrMarrok657
This rifle was made by Remington during WWI. They had a contract, along with New England Westinghouse, to produce rifles for the Czars army. Some made it to the Eastern front before the Czar was over thrown. This is one of those rifles.

@ytykg was the production high, or is it kind of an oddity? thats pretty sweet, and american made russian rifle

@ViolentEncounter
Remington produced 750000 rifles before production was halted by the 1917. Of course who knows how many survived all the wars since then. Not all of them made it out of the US either. The new governments defaulted on the payments owed. Some were bought by the US Army, and used as trainers before eventually being sold as surplus.
