@xbuster17 im ashamed of humankind and myself that im part of this nonsense waste of time resources and energy in this bullshit economical and political system called democracy full of lies and aaaaaaaaaaaa..... btw all who can think a bit forward and not of themselves+money only should be.. ashamed of planet earth and the modern slavery it still contains. just to comment something .. appropriate

But will it blend? :P
-
@Jordankewl please explain how u built it and the spacing used
-
That's pretty nice....the fact that it stored up a lot of extra energy to power the fan with a short burst of torch
-
@nathanihensel its not about purpose or practicality here but its about practice and principal
-
@Jordankewl I wanted to say that MSI had clever idea, but after few searchings... it's just a fridge technology.
-
Looks like it works better than those overpriced eco fans..Those hardly do anything..
-
fire is not good right next to your comuter
this makes me think that the cpu cooler could run from the electricity generated by the metal thing they use creating a self controlled temperature manager... we now waste so much energy... testa must be ashamed of us

@xbuster17 google "MSI sterling chipset cooler" for articles about a similar idea that was used on a motherboard a few years ago. it wasn't super effective but it's an example of what you're thinking of!

That would run on a candle or alcohol burner right?

@Tryoutz747 an alcohol burner would be better than a candle, but both will work

EcoFan? what? really? EcoFan? you used a torch to start it

@nathanihensel ecofan is the brand of heat-powered fans one can buy in stores. since i didn't have a wood stove or hotplate at the time I had to improvise a heat source.
