Thermoelectric Fan

I made a clone of those EcoFans you see in tool catalogs sometimes. It's just steel plates and copper wire and a cheap peltier cooler that came from an automotive 12volt sixpack cooler.

this makes me think that the cpu cooler could run from the electricity generated by the metal thing they use creating a self controlled temperature manager... we now waste so much energy... testa must be ashamed of us

@xbuster17 google "MSI sterling chipset cooler" for articles about a similar idea that was used on a motherboard a few years ago. it wasn't super effective but it's an example of what you're thinking of!

@nathanihensel ecofan is the brand of heat-powered fans one can buy in stores. since i didn't have a wood stove or hotplate at the time I had to improvise a heat source.
