The only Skynyrd members playing in this clip are Gary Rossington (black fedora hat), Johnny Van Zant (singer), Billy Powell (piano) and Rickey Medlocke. And of these the two original members are Gary and Billy. Johnny Van Zant is the younger brother of Ronnie VanZant (original member and founder of Skynyrd). Rickey played on some of their original tracks back in the 70's. There is a lot more info if you Google Skynyrd. They have had a few member changes over the years.

Sorry, but obviously you have not listened to any of Artimus Venomous. Evidently one doesn't have to be able to ride a bike to play great drums. As for Johnny, I read all the comments and didn't see any that discredit Johnny. As for Hank Jr., I like him a lot. As for it being the greatest tour in history....nope. Present Skynyrd will NEVER match the original...sorry. Now, go pull out all your old Skynyrd cds and give a good listen.  Listen particularly close to one titled Second Helping.

If you dont believe Hank Jr or Lynyrd Skynyrd can entertain you go to a concert. Hank plays everything on the stage and moves around and throws in lyrics you can relate to. And Lynyrd Skynyrd rock like you wouldnt believe.

Hank Jr yes puts on a great show when sober. But it's his hard living kid hank III that puts on an always intense sober A+ show. hank Jr can really blow it live when he is down for the count

Hank Jr puts on the best overall show you will probably see anywhere. Country, rock, blues, new ,old, his, his daddy's and everybody else's songs too. Electric, acoustic, with the full band and just by himself. Hank is a true entertainer. Skynyrd ain't bad either! Although, I haven't seen them since Hughie left and Billy and Ean passed away. I can't imagine them without Billy Powell.

@the1percent Love them all, but for me, One More From the Road is the king daddy for Skynyrd. Nothing beats a live version from them! I got to see them at the Fox about 92 or 93. Great show. Opening for them was one little blonde haired, 13 year old Derek Trucks! He damn near stole the show! The best line up since 77 to me was when Hughie Thomasson was on third guitar with Rickey and Gary. They smoked it but good. Of course, nothing beats Gary and Allen and Steve on guitars.

@dermagrafa : Rickey Medlocke would be pissed if he read this cuz to me he thinks he's an original Skynyrd. I guess he WAS...sorta. But didn't he make his fame in Blackfoot? No DISREGARDS but who am I eh? JUST a fan. Kinda analogous to Eric Clapton saying he was a Beatle. (I think I'm in shit for this controversy...I'D BEST SHUT UP).
