Zeitgeist clip - War (Opening Sequence)

Amazing clip from the movie Zeitgeist. This movie deals with religion, the banking system and 911 conspiracy theories. This clip is the only part I really liked about the movie, the rest seemed very exaggerated although some of things mentioned might be true, but I don't really trust conspiracy theories.

yea i liked this part of the movie too, but the religion section, it just makes to much sense to just not think about

Well all they said about religion is being known for a long time so it's not like they have revealed a secret or uncovered a conspiracy, it just that most people would choose to ignore it despite the evidence.

The idea of the whole documentary is to just show you ways in which our social and political establishments have lied to us to make us follow an idea or support an action that was being done on behalf of and for the ruling class elites. The second is suggesting a way in which we can fix the problem. Support it or not you have to admit that the world and its societies are not well.. and all evidence suggests religion and money are the main factors.

I certainly think parts of the piece are 'conspiracy' tainted but does that amount to a falsification of the 'truth' put forward? It's certainly good food and the opening sequence of 'foreign policy' is, for me, an encapsulation of a fundamental of our species' driving force; war. Also, I think it's a very brave film, doing an expose of THEM. If you're wanting more I'd suggest, 'The Power of Nightmares' and if it comes to a building near you, 'It Felt Like a Kiss', both by Adam Curtis.
