Just love those flat wounds on that Rickenbacker. Beautiful and funky. Paul is such a great bassist.

@Zebonka Probably about three musicians in the world that could say that to Paul and get away with it!

@Floridaboy7777 i would love to see that but i think the only reasone he don't use this butiful rick is that he is 70 and i think it hurts his sholder so he uses a light weight bass (hofner)

PAUL: Shall we try not such a bad boy?
RINGO: Do we have to?
Fuck, I'm with Ringo!! Haha. Love the guy.

@edobb001 yes...but def not his first ill-fated venture

I love that tone...too bad the film sucks, cause it's got some great shots of the Rick, his Martin D28, as well as his first Zenith guitar!

This is from "Give My Regards To Broad Street"....an ill-fated movie by Paul

its from 1984 I beleive. probably in one of the Wings documentary/concert DVDs like Wings over America or WIngs Over the World or some other concert DVD or maybe it was a promo film just for this song
honestly i dont care so much for these songs from Give My Regards to Broad Street, but this one is pretty good, but i really just dig the closeups of Paul's Rick bass!!! it is out of this world... the tone is so growly, and so punchy. and not only that, the awesome bass playing really carries the song. thumbs up if paul should use his Rickenbacker bass on tour for some songs!
