In most hunter paces, the jumps are optional. You can go around if you don't feel comfortable (or any other reason) jumping them. Some are set for completing the trail at the fastest but safest time, and some are set for the ideal time just to complete it comfortably.
Hilltopper has a slower hunt time then Hunt. Hilltopper is meant for people who are still new to the hunting world or just want to relax and enjoy the pace. Hunt is for the people who want to go faster and who are more experianced. The course is the same, just the hunt time is different.
hunter pace is basically a huge trail ride lol most are open to any displine and its soo fun! you don't have to have special traingin or anything. i love them so does my horse
