with today's technology a good engineer could remove lots of the noise and most of the piano, isolating the guitar, then lay it over a new piano/synth backing track

I waited for Shawn Lanes' 1st album Powers of Ten after reading about him in Mike Varneys guitarist profile years ago in Guitar Player magazine. I am so glad that there are a lot of performances from fans on here. A great inspiration to me musically. This piece is beautifully expressive and i am going to introduce his music today to a few more guitarists who 'need to know'. Thanks for the post.
