CN Freight in Edmonton, Alberta

A CN freight train comes off the Vegreville Sub heading into Edmonton, Alberta. The train had CN 5306, 5391 and 4784 (two SD40s and a GP38) with a whopping 144 cars.

@DieselSmoke92 I'm afraid I don't know, I don't visit Edmonton much. I think it is moderately busy with traffic from the oil sands.

I'm not sure if it ever was CP but maybe it was. It was owned by Ontario Hydro for a period before being purchased by CN.

because cn already has a route through the rockies, though they might keep the line east of golden open to keep running coal trains from crowsnest pass
