We had a priest in my old school back in 2007 and he was then taking a class in wedding gay people. He said that everybody is someone he cares about and want to help in death and in Love, but I live in Sweden where most tings about gay is OK.

if all this religious terminology confuses you... you can say that they are ignorant of how genes and humans work. but if they keep doing the will of god, and do some more research, they will find out more about the truth.

to do science means to do the will of god, because god wants us to understand the world, so atheists can also do the will of god without knowing it. there are many people today who call themselves christians, but they work for the devil.

god is just the personification of the word good, like the devil is the personification of evil

@watergaia I don't know if I agree with you on all that. Wars and other atrocities advocated by God are documented in the Bible. Disease and poverty was rampant during the Dark Ages when the Church dominated everything. Plus, many medical and scientific discoveries have been made by atheists or by unsavory means. I don't know how involved God is in everyday life, if at all, but it just seems too simplistic to say that everything bad is punishment and everything good is reward.

@redgirlinbluedresses it's in the nature of sin that it can infect innocent people too, if they come into contact with it, thats why we should fix our society and world.

if we followed god, there would be no diseases, no war and no poverty. god only punishes us so that we know that we have done something wrong. god can stop punishing us if we start following him. for example, the penicillin was created because people started following god, so god gave us the penicillin.

@watergaia This is the first time I have heard a biblical prophet referred to as the antichrist. I've always heard that it was Nero. You'd think God's punishment wouldn't be so easily avoidable through using a barrier or so easily curable through a penicillin shot (as long as it isn't a virus). Not to mention that this punishment can effect non-guilty parties. If a man sleeps with a hooker and brings a disease home to his wife, then the wife is being punished for his misdeed.

as for STDs being bacterial evolution; that can very well be true, but that evolution is still a punishment from god, because god created everything and rules and controls everything that happens in the world, so everything that happens in the world is done by god.

we may call it gravity when the earth attracts us, but that's actually a manifestation of god's love towards us
