why would the indian government go to 38 other gurdwaras if they only wanted to get one man: jarnail singh bhindranwale. reports within the govt even suggested that bhindranwale would give himself up if need be. but, why not demoralize an entire area, religion, and community according the actions the gove eventually took.

cowards. and those who question bhindrwanwale or why singhs took arms in the golden temple, they too are cowardly.

that is true, but one side will only shoot if u shoot them first(unless its a dumass, but all communities have ppl like those)

and then theres the govt, they sent basically agents to screw up our prayers, which they were successful in(most sikhs dont know that they are only doing part of their prayer now)

and then when that didnt completely stop sikhs, they tried to wipe them out

@nba2020 I don't think it's cowardly to try to understand every aspect of this situation. But it is cowardly to say that anyone who asks questions is a coward. After all, everyone wants to know the truth. Both sides are full of artful propagandists. Both sides are full of raving fanatics who would rather shoot than talk. Those are the real cowards.

@abhineetgupta3 Because some people do not believe in thinking rationally. Some people just want to divide the world. The great irony in this entire incident is that both Indira Gandhi and Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale were essentially the same type of person: arrogant, power-hungry, and using religion to divide the people of the land. And, in the end, they both chewed off more than they could swallow and died at the hands of those whose anger they exploited.
