REVISED DRAFT
1. DET-Matt Stafford QB/Georgia
Kitna was traded to Dallas, Orlovsky signed with Houston, Culpepper is old, so the obvious pick here is Stafford.
2.STL-Jason Smith OT/Baylor
Either Smith or Eugene Monroe
could go here. Orlando Pace is old and injury prone, and Alex Barron didn't produce at LT.
3.KC- Aaron Curry LB/ Wake Forest
Kansas City managed only 10 sacks in 08. Need I say more?
4.SEA- Michael Crabtree WR/ Texas Tech
I am aware Seattle signed TJ Houshmanzadeh, but he is 32. Deion Branch is always hurt too.
5.CLE- Brian Orakpo DE-OLB/ Texas
Cleveland needs another OLB, Willie McGinest fell off and is old.
6.CIN-BJ Raji DT/Boston College
The Bengals need to fill their D-line, as John Thornton is 32. A guy like Raji could step in immediately.
7.OAK- Aaron Maybin DE/Penn State
Derrick Burgess could use some help.
8. JAX-Jeremy Maclin WR/Missouri
With all the top-10 tackles off the board, Jacksonville should grab a WR to add depth to the offense.
9.GB- Malcolm Jenkins CB/ Ohio State
Orakpo is off the board, so the Packers will address another need.
10.SF-Michael Oher OT/Ole Miss
San Francisco will probably stick with Shaun Hill and sign a vet QB or draft someone like Sam Bradford next year or Pat White in later rounds. The 49ers have a hole at o-line and Oher will fill it.
11.BUF- Everette Brown DE/Florida State
Aaron Schobel is the only reliable guy.
12.DEN-Knowshon Moreno RB/Georgia
The Broncos got their powerback in LaMont Jordan, so why not pair him with Moreno?
13.WAS-Eben Britton OT/Arizona
Washington needs an OT with their senior home they call an o-line.
14.NO-Brian Cushing OLB/USC
The Saints need another OLB. Cushing and Vilma would be monstrous.
15.HOU-Vontae Davis DB/Illinois
Texans don't need a DE, due to the signing of Antonio Smith. OLB is also probably out, Cato June was just signed. Defensive back is a problem for the Texans, and they will address it with Davis.
16.SD-William Beatty OT/Connecticut
San Diego needs a bookend OT for Marcus McNeill, and Beatty can fill that.
17.NYJ-Mark Sanchez QB/USC
Apparently Kellen Clemens failed, so Sanchez can go here.
18.DEN- Rey Maualuga ILB/USC
First off, Chicago did good getting Cutler. If they get a free agent WR like Torry Holt and draft another WR, their offense will be a force. Denver will fill in a hole here, Niko Koutovides didn't pan out.
19.TB-Percy Harvin WR/Florida
With Joey Galloway and Ike Hilliard gone, Antonio Bryant needs a playmaker opposite of him.
20.DET- James Laurinaitis ILB/Ohio State
Jordon Dizon is not the answer.
21.PHI-Chris Wells RB/Ohio State
Dawkins is gone, but the Eagles signed Sean Jones to replace him. Philly will get their future RB in Wells.
22.MIN-Michael Johnson DE/Georgia Tech
Imagine: an athletic, fast DE paired with Jared Allen and the "Williams Wall".
23.NE- Clay Matthews OLB/USC
With Tedy Bruschi old and Mike Vrabel a Chief, New England needs another LB to play with Jerod Mayo.
24.ATL- Clint Sintim LB/ Virginia
The losses of Keith Brooking and Michael Boley hurt their linebacking corps.
25.MIA-Hakeem Nicks WR/North Carolina
Davone Bess should not be starting.
26.BAL-Darrius Heyward-Bey WR/Maryland
Derrick Mason is old.
27.IND-Peria Jerry DT/ Ole Miss
Colts need a run stuffing DT.
28.PHI-Duke Robinson OG/Oklahoma
Todd Herremans' natural position is LT.
29.NYG- Kenny Britt WR/Rutgers
Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer are gone.
30.TEN-DJ Moore DB/Vanderbilt
Nick Harper is 35.
31.ARI-Donald Brown RB/Conn
Edgerrin James is old and Tim Hightower does too much dancing around.
32.PIT-Alex Mack C/Cal
Mack could pump some life into a bad O line.

Vrabel still has a lot of play left in him. But still Curry.
redsniper041 2 years ago
If you think that an old linebacker in Vrabel is going to deter the Chiefs from taking the best player in the draft, then there is something wrong with your head.
CENSOREDFORSEX 2 years ago
Okay then, how about Vrabel?
