It's great if the rotors stay on. But they haven't been. The cause of BOTH crashes.

@realchange2012 dont bash it, ive flown one multiple times without incident. Its a great helicopter, and its a safe helicopter

looks ok but is dangerous. Two crashes in a few months with 3 people dead. Buyer beware.

@94eyung R22, R44 and the new R66 arnt about looks, there primary role and function is as a cheap but efficient charter/sight seeing helicopter with the R22 primarily ridden solo as a cattle muster machine. An R22 retails around the 300-400 thousand dollars (thats the 2 seater piston engine version of this) Its sturdy reliable and efficient. The people that own and buy these are not interested in looks. There after a cost effective and practical solution for the buisness.
