Chef Nicole Straight of Time to Eat takes CT Bites editor Stephanie Webster on a tour of the Westport Farmer Market to explain leafy greens like kale. She then demonstrates a super easy recipe that kids will love. Crispy, baked kale chips!
@laidlawslolita I cook mine at 350 for 8-10 minutes too. I also wash the kale really well, dry it, and then add a small amount of olive oil in a bowl and rub it all over the kale. They come out more even that way. I learned that I need to sprinkle a tiny amont of salt too. I love kale!
Ok, tried this today following the instructions to the letter....and after 14 minutes I had smoke coming out of my oven, the kale was totally burned, smoke everywhere in the house...I made another batch and reduced the heat to 350 and only put them in for 8 to 10 minutes and it was perfect.....just an FYI for everyone

Great video, good recipe. In my oven, 300 degrees works better to prevent the chips from getting too datk, too fast..

I burned mine too at that high heat recommendation. Definitely try a lower heat and less time. But delicious!
