well i never thought of the whole no fingers 2 fingers 5 fingers thing. that seems smart. i always grew up with rock paper scissors. i gues here in the u.s we focus more on tune and sound rather than the actual hand gestures. its always nice to see another opinion!

@SuperSimpleSongs Lol, yeah. I was just giving you a hard time. It makes no difference to me, ha ha!
It's Rock, Paper, Scissors. Lol. I love seeing children learn. They make a helicopter out of their hands, :D Adorable.

Thanks! As for Rock-Scissors-Paper vs. Rock-Paper-Scissors, it depends where you are. It's different in different cultures (check wikipedia for more on that.) For young learners still developing motor skills, it's easier to go from rock to scissors to paper (no fingers, 2 fingers, 5 fingers.) Seems like a small thing to adults, but for a 3-year-old, it makes all the difference in the world and allows them to participate rather than getting frustrated and giving up.

you need to also teach which is the left hand and which is the right hand. But a great video otherwise

Thanks! We usually do a very short introduction of right and left before singing, but we use right and left repeatedly in the song and the kids always learn it rather quickly simply by singing and following along with the teacher.
