Must have had a rap sheet a mile long or some other mitigating circumstance. California is very liberal. Anyplace else he may have very well been put to death. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. The only one that matters here is the judge's so....

the girl at 2:40 makes no sense. she said "if he was young he should get the max." so if someone was 30 then in her view the 30 year old should get more leniency.
