As awesome as the new Evo is, Subaru > Mitsubishi. Therefore, give me the keys to the STi over the Evo anyday! And God I just LOVE the classic boxer engine sound!

Boxer sound is lovely, but this one sounds much less than the last version. In desperate need of a louder sports exhaust if you ask me! :-)

I totally agree. I picked mines up a month ago and having worked on and been around an '05 and my 2010 I definitely like the GR better!

I just picked up my new STI today!! woohoo it's fantastic!

It's definitely a 'nicer' car than the old one. That's probably what a lot of you are complaining about. It hasn't got the same rough/tough/edginess as the old one.

But I do appreciate it's much better sound dampening. It was really nice comfortable and quiet driving back through peak our traffic tonight.

But of course that's not why you buy an STI.

Track day next month... I can't wait!

sti is quicker man. evo x is a heavy tank. Also i have seen car reviews where the sti was quicker and more functional.
