  • I bet she never stops talking...even when she's sleeping. The potatoes look good.

  • That's such a smart recipe. Potatoes can be really boring.

  • sum wahn, du fwench fwies, bone appetite! the French are mixed, Arabia, Egypt, Croix Magnon. "Jacques" is from the pre Egyptian "Ak" or "Ankh" (life, house, town, whatever), and "Pepin" is a small dangerous red pepper (masochistic Mexicans take them with beer).

  • @Bucksconstruction Some people believe throwing salt over their shoulder brings good luck. Haha to me it's just another thing to clean up.

  • LOL @1:20 she tosses the rest of the salt over her shoulder

  • Your channel is truely inspiring! I have to give you a 5 stars! Love it so much. Let's stay in touch. Check out mine sometimes too!

  • I know she gets alot of things said about her but come on peeps you have to give it to her some things she makes are really good. Plus to me she is super cute just sometimes she might need to slow it down a bit with the info but she's a women what can you say.

  • that looks like a carbaholic's dream potato dish

  • I bet jacques hates rachel fuckin up his recipe

  • An old superstition. When salt was rare, expensive, and necessary for good health, to waste it by dropping some on the floor was like throwing away a lot of money, so it was "bad luck."

Throwing some over your shoulder was to bribe the faeries with that salt, so they would not take vengeance upon you for being so wasteful.

  • well would you want a tv host that didn't talk as much? if you haven't noticed cooking does get boring for people doing it alone
