I was a little boy when I heard this haunting melody drifting from a juke box outside an amusement arcade, I remember stopping to listen as it started, I was so impressed and the memory of it has lived with me ever since, the 60's were a better place because of these lads. Well done Robin.

totally agree .... although my favourite song by them was "one million years" ... what a ballad .... will haunt me till my dying day .... right from when I 1sy heard it at about 8 or 9 years old ... Peace always ... Tim :)

I totally agree with you. All three wrote great songs, and Barry and Robin's vocals were, to me, the best, however, no one, I mean, no one could sing like Robin. He had such a range - could go low or high (listen to Somewhere, he was only 16). He made his voice wrap around the instruments like no other. He should have never been pushed aside as a backup vocalist. And his voice only evolved; "Rings around the moon, Toys, Gone with the wind". His voice was an instrument. And he never lost it!

I believe that Robins voice is the reason the BGs became famous.I can not understand why Barry moved into the for front when Robin was doing so well. I'm sorry but this has always bothered me. Barry is a great singer but Robin carried the group into the mainstream an then he got bombed. I appreciate and re-listen to all the songs the twins did. nough said. Vike
