Who he is and what he has stood for far outweigh all his accomplishments on the field. Here is a true gentleman. I've had the pleasure of meeting this role model many times. This is my tribute to you, Stan. Your example is your legacy.
Thank you very much for uploading this wonderful video! I shared it tonight with a 73 year old kid who with his Grandpa made it to some of the games in St. Louis and listened to most on the radio in Vandalia, Illinois. He grew up loving Stan and I searched the internet and found all of these wonderful videos and we watched them together. By the time we watched Stan play his last game my friend had to wipe away a tear! Wonderful memories! God blessed our world with Stan Musial!
Great to find the song sung by Marty Bronson, "Stan the Man". I've been looking for it since hearing it over 40 years ago. Musial is one of my heroes; I attended his last game in '63 and met him in '95--what a thrill! Thanks for posting!
