Poem 1 - "heartbeat" - by Didi

I have been writing a lot of poems the past while, so i thought, why not put them on youtube and see what people think??? lol, so this is my first poem of my youtube series... its called "heartbeat".

My heart sped up, it skipped a beat,
It raced and jumped and felt the heat.
Eyes met, two smiles, heart like a drum.
Fast beats predicted love to come.

And still, a flutter, rhythm speeds,
As eyes a meet, whilst life proceeds.
The heart, so strong, beats throughout time,
I love you dear, forever mine.
