Corey's voice does sound bad here but for some sweet relief check out videos from the 2011 Sonisphere cycle.  It's not what it used to be but far superior to this.

According to Mr Corey Taylor, he decided to change his voice during Subliminal Verses due to alcohol addiction, and then for All Hope is Gone, he wanted to use the same style he used in the earlier Albums. I have to say though, his voice improved a lot in 2011.

hmmz i just realized the great thing about being in slipknot is that at some point when ur ill or whatever and cant perform, u just strap on the mask and "uniform" on a backup guy, and no one in the audience has any idea!
