  • the way that truck is set up with the amount of nitros its getting when it hits you have to relieve some of that drive pressure in the exhaust or it will over speed the turbo, there is an article in diesel power mag about his setup

  • @powerstroke7024 ? If the wastegate opens, the turbo's lose boost, and drop power.

  • @matt2002f250 Or buy a proper car...

  • @matt2002f250 But a 1/4 mile proves fuck all as a Veyron isn't designed for that. Diesel clag is proven to be a violent carcinogen, which is why buses need particule filters. Idiot. I'd rather have a nose full of pure CO than that crap. And 25000lbs is what 11 and a half tons? I've pulled a 55ton tank with my 3.5 V8 Land Rover, and that was useful, it moved a tank out of the way of a fire engine, truck pulls? They're just mindless pointlessness.

  • @TheWierdFish and if he really wanted to he could maybe tune it down a lil bit and drive it everyday and get damn good fuel mileage

  • @TheWierdFish the black "poisonous" crap that you see is unburnt diesel fuel is a lot more healthier for the environment than the gasser that you dont even see the exhaust fumes. and also in a quarter mile drag race which looks like what this truck is built for seeing the slicks it will prolly eat the veyron for breakfast if not come pretty darn close and he paid a small fraction of a cost to build this as apposed to buy a bugatti. oh he can also pull 25000 pounds in truck pulls

  • @crislt1 Bad as in, awful. Just to make that clear.

  • @TheWierdFish Edit: 1000, not 10000. Too much riveting, I can't feel my flippin' fingers!

  • @dipper4america If you're going to go to all the expense of modifying something like that, why not take the time (which costs nothing, by the way) to tune it right? An really, what, if any, is the point in 10000bhp, in a truck. In a Veyron, I can see it, in a truck? Why?

  • @TheWierdFish someones hobby bro, if he feels like wasting his hard earned money on something pointless... let him lol

  • One bad mother fucker

  • It's clearly not running right in the mid range, that black crap is not only poisonous and carcinogenic, but a sure sign of a badly tuned engine. Can I ask, what is the point of a 1000hp pickup?

  • Stock crank as last I heard. These cranks will take a lot of ponies.

  • you sure can tell when those wastegates in the up pipes open and the nitro hits, badass!

  • does it use the stock crankshaft; did you guys sleeve the block?

  • heck yeah polute the air with diesel :D cause it smells gooood!!!!

  • thats one badass truck!

  • the vids dont do it justice -i lust saw it run in petersburg va & it is one bad mofo-pulled to the line like it was pissed off

  • Also saw this in Diesel Power. Good lookin 7.3

  • Read about this in Diesel Power magazine. Beautiful truck, nice run.
