Sitting around waiting for my Dr. appointment on the 30th, possibly facing a ERCP..decided to go out to the airport for the first time...really..since..I don't even remember the last time I went (that's how long ago it was..)

I miss aviation ...in a BIG WAY. Been sick waaay too long :(... just love the action of flying..ATC..travelling..I miss it all. I should be up there with my friends. Hopefully soon *crosses fingers*

Anyway I used to spend hours and hours doing homework while attending SLCC in the observation area..then they closed it due to security concerns *rolls eyes*.. (now I guess it's going to be the new trax station)

So out of boredom and nothing to do I went out to the airport to visit the old place where the idea all started..

**Note** all video was shot from outside the "path behind the gate" I never stood still under the ILS critical area (even the one photo..) all photos taken inside the gates were taken with a fast shutter speed.

**dumb note** mm..my voice sounds...high for some reason usually it's a lot lower than that..sorry for all the wind noise..it was windy (can you tell?)

**grumbling note** hopefully youtube doesn't swipe/delete this audio..this is a small artist from Japan. The lyrics are different but it's catchy.

  • @Matt007b Yeah im trying something else now, i finally got a hold of her, but they gave the job to someone with more detailing experience.

  • @biggestMetallicAfan ah that sucks..yeah I got lucky before most places did the whole online thing. That's the problem..you have to get past the online hurdle of impressing people online before you can impress them in person (makes it hard..). Yeah I hate my job this much that I'm tempted to apply now.. lol. Anyway keep buggin' em'. Even the ramp job on the airlines in baggage for frontier wouldn't be bad.

  • @Matt007b Seems easy back then, now they tell me i gotta apply online, which i did, but now if i could get past that damn answering machine haha.

  • @biggestMetallicAfan Back then you go up to the front desk/counter girls and ask for a application, and attach a resume and turn it into the counter girls. She called days later and we met/sat in the lobby of millionair..then she offered and I accepted and we talked about things in the boardroom (rules). She offered and then I had to do a drug test on redwood. I backed out pretty early due to my stupid food allergy problems. Sounded like a fun job..the Jazz/celebs go through their ramp

  • @Matt007b Ok so you have done it all before?

What did you do? just call and schedule a meeting or what?

  • @biggestMetallicAfan yeah that's who I interviewed with (michelle I think is her name... could be wrong) she's nice.. it's too bad I couldn't do that job (stupid health..grr..) but yeah keep trying, they have to have turn-over with the holidays and cold weather outside coming up. Plus usually they have a need for de-ice people as well.
