  • I want to get a long tri-axle fifth wheel

  • @mikeradman Fifth wheels are positive lock hitches. They do not require safety chains.in fact they could get caught on the hitch and could cause an accident besides if you lost a trailer that weighs more than your truck safety chains would take you along for the ride.

  • @b19b0y if they were still tuchin the ground the would have came off an riped up the bottom of his trailer. i seen it before

  • Like a TT, isn't there safety chains to hook up as well?

  • and you never removed the chock

  • Harold, I am not impressed. Level only matters AFTER you hook up, connect the wire so you can apply the brake WHILE you hitch, place the pin plate slightly lower than the fifth wheel, so that you don't risk high hitching it, put a pin or padlock on the safety latch so it can't pop open, connect the breakaway safety cable, and RAISE YOUR LEGS.
