http://einfacheleben.com/dvd.html This is a rack I threw together with an old servo, stepper, and LCD. It uses a Finite State Machine to manage the menu system and tasks.

  • Good project man, may be you can connect the avr to the computer so the you can store it using the same system (so it knows where the disk is) and fetch using the same system. computer program will remember the disk name and location? I am gonna do the same... cheers bro.. great idea!

  • Shit. You could have made it so much better. Built a proper enclosure, have discs enter and exit via a tray (or even a slot), etc. This sucks.

  • agreed with odv000, a nice big external HDD would take care of everything

  • u2 in the backround ;)

  • nice, but useless.

i mean why not just get big external HDD?

  • why would someone dislike this video??? phtt.... no words...

  • Lol, are those movies pirated? (I don't care if they are; I'm just curious.)

  • haha nice but it goes faster if the movies are stored on HDD :D
