Coming August 16th, 2010 -The Girl With No Bowel !

"Update! - The Mystery Diagnosis HPS Episode is slated to be on the air August 16th on the Discovery Health Channel !"

We were very priviliged to be chosen to promote awareness of HPS in an episode of Mystery Diagnosis. Here we have some of the people involved in the making of this episode. Unfortuantely, all are not shown as Karen and Heather had to rest on the morning of Day 2 of the Reenactments.

@tommytillman I looked it up. Isn't it some form of albinism and it causes poop problems?

@montanerfan10 Albinism is one of the symptoms, among many.

HPS is described by five major characteristics which may include albinism, platelet dysfunction, inflammatory bowel disease, and pulmonary fibrosis.

The poop problem is due to a bleeding and ulcer problem they have in their colon. If it is severe enough, surgery is required.
