A northbound local BNSF freight train crossed Baptist Road just south of Monument, CO on Friday, June 19, 2009. On the point was BNSF GP35u 2521. It was built as Santa Fe GP35 1321 in March 1964. It was later renumbered Santa Fe 3321. Then it was rebuilt and renumbered Santa Fe GP35u 2821 in July 1982. This was its final Santa Fe number before the BNSF merger. Electro-Motive Diesel GP38-2 798 was built as Penn Central 7998 in July 1972, then renumbered Conrail 7998 before becoming an EMDX lease unit.
