  • You can paint glaze between the pieces, the glaze will glue them together in the kiln.

  • @penderleaart Yea, someone else mentioned the same thing. I plan to do that once I get back around to glazing my pieces. Other things have gotten in the way lately :( Thanks for your comment.

  • Oh funny, my favorite soup bowl is the one with the wheat/grass design. My first thought was that it looked like breezy summer grass! Great job ~ keep having fun!

  • @SharJoyC LOL are you talking about the one my husband did not like? The one with the design in the middle of the bowl? I was playing around with them but really enjoyed doing it. You never know what you are going to come up with when you are playing. Thanks for watching... hope to have a glaze firing soon!

  • @muditsallabout yes, that is the one! The best inspiration comes from 'play time' :) I need to get to some glazing myself. I just did a bisque fire of some wares that I made several months ago.

  • @SharJoyC You are right.. inspiration DOES come from playing because I certainly am no artist with a brush... but on pottery, it's amazing what you can do when you get to playing. I have alot to learn too about links in video... mine didn't come out as a link. Guess I need a new editing program. Hey, I'd love to see what you bisque fired! C'mon... you know you want to show us!!! I'm thinking about putting a light shino over these bowls. What do you think?

  • @janicethepotter Hey thanks Janice, I've been trying my best to get a little better in consistency because I have one customer who wants several. I guess he will get a few of these. My biggest request is for Temoku glazed bowls. I sure hope I can glaze my Toad Houses to look at least 1/2 as good as yours. Not sure how I'll do that yet. I'm gonna try to use the glaze to get the parts to stick back on. My husband did those parts and didn't score them well enough. I am an Addict!!

  • @hobbypotter Hey thanks, I didn't know if anyone would be interested in the greenware before bisque firing or not but I haven't posted anything in a while so I thought I'd share what little bit I'd been doing. Thanks for the tip on putting the frog back together. Hoping it turns out as I find them so cute. So glad Janice shared with us. I guess the glazing will take me a few days, still brushing, lol. Thanks for watching girl! I appreciate all comments as you know.

  • Wow! Wonderful pottery... the bowls with Iron Red are a consistent & lovely shape and size. The Toad Houses look great! My first frogs and mushrooms fell off too! ha ha... so now I score and slip everything. Tammy is right, just use your glaze to make them stick together. Looking forward to your next glaze firing! Thanks for sharing... it's clear to me that you are a pottery addict like me... ha ha. Best Regards, Janice

  • How great!!! Love the little toad stools :) As far as re-attaching them I would think you could just attach them again with glaze (imagine a drippy kiln run shelf...lol) . Precious pinch pots and can't wait to see your glaze results...bisque, glaze... all firings are a thrill for me so thank you for posting :D !
