On Thursday 29th May 2008 the Class 40 Preservation Society mainline machine 40145 returned to York via Hebden Bridge with a Rail Head Treatment Train set that had been on trial on the East Lancashire Railway. Here we see a shot of this large logo heavyweight engine as it passes through Hebden Bridge. This was a rare move for 40145. See my other two files taken at Castleton on its arrival on Friday 9th May 2008. John Wantling, Rochdale, UK
