Mt. Pinatubo

Pinatubo trek, long overdue as planned by me & Dr. Bing (thanks for some of her photo) had materialized last March 23, 2009. We are a group of 10, some are tennis friends. The price of the trek is P3500 inclusive of
1. welcome drink,
2. full pack lunch at the crater consisting of rice, pork chop adobo, vegetables, breaded chicken, salted egg, bottled water & tomato
3. bumpy & dusty 4x4 jeepney ride up to the foot of Mount Pinatubo
4. guide (who were kind enough to carry our back pack & provided us with bamboo sticks)
5. boat ride to the other side of the crater for hot spring swim
6. smell of the suplhiric volcanic ash
7.SPA (much needed after the trek) includes lahar sauna, mud bath & massage)
8. Certificate of Conquest
FYI: We left Sta. Maria as early as 5 am & at 8 am started our bumpy/dusty jeepney ride to the foot of Pinatubo. After more than an hour bumpy/dusty ride courtesy of lahar, we started our trek for another hour passing the stream, boulders, mountains & etc.

It's all worth it!!!!

would you know kung gano kalayo ang mt.pinatubo sa zambales? kasi we are planning na after zambales eh diretsyo kami dun..posible ba o complicated masyado? pls reply..thanks!

If you're passing sctex from Olongapo, take the Concepcion exit then go to Capas, Tarlac.

Capas lang ang way in order to go to the rim of Pinatubo, don lang kasi ang opening

Sus, sumasakay nga lang kame nang kalabaw papunta diyan... 4 hours lang, taga brgy. Bueno kame, katabe nang santa juliana...

hindi malayo sa zambales ang pinatubo, sa katunayan, ang lokasyon ng caldera nito ay nasa botolan zambales! mt.pinatubo lies on the borders of three provinces, zambales,pampanga and tarlac.....it's santa juliana! not san! renting a vehicle costs 2500pesos per trip.
