Is it just me or isn't obvious that this is one of the most important parts of the island. It forced lost souls to come together, help each other to overcome their demons and to let go by starting a new life afresh. They needed each other in order to so. Those who don't get the end of Lost don't appreciate or can't accept that a befuddling show could be based on such a simple, life-affirming idea.
