Another "INFODEO" from Oscar Carmona at Healing Grounds Certified Organic Nursery. This video covers the basics of propagating from cuttings, specifically herbaceous plants. Using three fundamental aspects to successful propagation, Tender growth to cut, Kelp and Water for root stimulation, and Temperature range from 73-75 deg for ideal root production. Always check out our website www.healinggroundsnursery.com for plant info and updates!

  • Why exactly do I want to avoid ripping the bark? What will happen in detail? I need to know things like this otherwise I disregard those types of statements. For some weird reason that is how I learn. Yes, classmates hate me because I ask too many questions. It's kind of like when someone tells me not to do drugs because it's bad. I disregard that statement and do drugs to see why it's bad. Horrible way to learn I know.

  • the best way to some and certain cuttings depends on the plant itself if you have a soft leaved cutting you cut the leaves ina half about a 3rd of the leaves cut to prevent wilting. sut a soft tip out and behead flowers and keep in mist for several weeks and you got roots easy as.

  • hi again. i heard that honey is a great alternative for a rooting hormone...i was wondering if you've ever tried approach? and how often should the new cuttings be water with the kelp water?

  • @HealingGrounds1 thank you.
