@tawheedization I too was a loyal Maxie Waxie/Waxie Maxie(I never could get it right) customer. That summer of '72 I was preparing for my Sr year in & loving life. This was my 1st Whispers album & I loved all of the tracks. My favorite was If You(track 3 side 1). I sure wish someone would post it. Little did I know within 16 months I'd be getting my ass blasted in Vietnam.Here's to those long ago summer D.C. days & those who were'nt so lucky to make it back.

i was twelve on my way to junior high a rainy August cloudy cool day first time i could remember summer can be quite cool in DC well i went to Waxie Maxie come on now waxie maxie i know some of yall got nostalgia big time well i brought this song and loved it and have loved the whispers every since real men although at the time their 19 or 20 is what we today wish hope and pray for for a mature 40 or 50 yr old tsk tsk tsk is this why our daughters and young sisters today are mad angry confused?
