OMG I loved Side Show! Some of the songs are so darn incredible! I think maybe you were not having a good day the evening you saw Side Show? Always try something twice before saying it sucks(wink)

Aw, I love Side Show. It's not that well known in the UK but I had a drama teacher who loved it so I've been listening to it for years. Me and my sister always sing it - I'm Violet and she's Daisy! :-)

I'm surprised he tried to botch his audition, his voice is AMAZING as Buddy! Love Buddy more than Terry! XD
But sight-reading (or cold reading) for a call-back's super hard, glad he did that well to land the job!
