General Motors lost $1.2 billion in the third quarter. Even with all the restructuring in the auto industry, a report says that there is still way too much overcapacity. Porsche is suing a shoe company over naming its sandal the Cayman. All that and more, plus a look at the all-new Kia Sorento.
GM almost became history. They must thank Michael Bay for using their cars.

@Porsche1080 - So having a push button start, does that eliminate a locking steering wheel, how does that work? I know some cars you can start with a remote, and some have electric parking brakes, so is the locking mechanism electric as well for the steering column? Just wondering...now I'll have to go to a dealer and check it out.

@JOHNINCOLUMBUS I guess it beats using those extra finger muscles during the morning drives. Plus its a bit more reliable, supposedly.

What is the advantage of having "push button start" as opposed to a regualr keyed ignition switch...anyone?

The new Sorento is absolutely amazing!! Buick isn't making many cars either, but Saab is in a much worse situation from what you said. Thanks for uploading :D . Where I am, the police are driving the Dodge Charger. Does this mean that all police stations will be getting the Interceptor?
