eclipse cranking but no start

heres my 99 eclipse GSX not starting. just cranks and cranks. its got spark, and fuel. i didn't do a compression test yet. what does this sound like to you? at the end the battery gets low. its not the battery because i replaced it with a new one. you can hear popping sounds its from the exhaust. no smoke coming out of it.

things i have done so far:
changed ecu
pour gas into the cylinders (no start)
cleaned TB (no start)
checked all IC pipes
checked everything.
checked all sensors.
not throwing CEL.

injen intake
3" full turbo back

did you find out what it was....I have a Evo III back home and had a similar problem....it wud start and die out...turned out to be the (MAF) mass airflow sensor...if its not fixed by now...try changing it

Yes, it's fixed. Thanks for the tip. It wasn't the MAF. I found out I had bent and broken valves.

hmoob: Could be the altenator because when you start it... it slowly drains down. Did you try push start yet if it's a stick!  I would have to be there to see for myself!

haha. well its not any of those. i found out that i had broken and bent valves. replacing those when i get new ones in the mail. i am upgrade turbo also. im going to run the 14b turbo.

its getting spark. and fuel. but i did pour fuel into the cyliders and it didnt start..

well the easy to fix cars that dont start is put a rag in the gas tank and light it up...

@tkhaab thats only going to put gasoline in your oil...

Cam sensor or knock sensor . look if you have a melted knock sensor. check your firing order.

i need help i have a 97 gst and when i start the car it would turn over then when i rev the engine it dies and will not start turn over it keeps blowing the cps sensor

hey tkhaab. my 99 gst is doing the same thing as you're gsx. after, i checked the compression on my car it was good. after a week, i checked the compression again and it was low! don't know why because i didn't drive the car. any suggestions? let me know if you're car starts after changing the valves. thanks!
