@coryboehne Buying a 2003 used E55 AMG with well over 100K miles are still 20K +. I have an 04 with 60K miles and it books Private Party for 29,940K (excellent condition) and 28,640k (for good condition). Retail is over 30K. I would be scared of the poor condition of an E55 for your "15k or less SALVAGED TITLE. I understand and appreciate the point that you were making with the E55 AMG against the Gallardo but when you went to the exaggerated extent of what you can by a used E55 for I had to add

Yep.. I drive an E55... I've beat a Gallardo too-- 90 to 120 MPH.. I was just driving away... Pretty impressive for a 4-door, that you can buy used for 15K or less, don't you think???

next time do a rolling start at 30 mph. Just agree to go when crossing the line across the intersection.

If the stupid launch-control didn't spin the wheels so much, I woulda been able to get off that line better...damn thing didnt hook up till well into second gear /The e55 is no slouch for sure though :-)
Time for turbos on the Lambo I think :-)
