Former Speaker Newt Gingrich took a bold turn during the CNN GOP National Security Debate tonight and pushed amnesty for illegal immigrants.

NOT all "illegals" chose to enter the US ilegally...Thousands of young children have been brought into the US by their parents with no fault of their own....These children should not pay for the actions of their parents. These kids have attended our American schools..., WE have invested thousands of dollars in them...If they have a good and clean criminal records, speak English, have attended college why not allow them to stay in the US so they can contribute to our economy?

My vote goes to Newt. His plan is realistic and HUMANE. I don't support illegal immigration, but there are some people who have been law abiding citizens and have actually paid their taxes. Deport the felons, deport the rapers, deport the drug dealers, but give a chance to those who are not doing any harm.
