Replacing the Fuse in a Garmin Car Charger

How to change the replaceable fuse in a Garmin in-car Charger. Video shows how to remove the fuse and how to replace the fuse. After my Garmin Nuvi 760 would not charge the Sat-Nav, I decided to change the fuse first. The literature that came with the unit did not provide any instrucitons for doing this, so I thought I'd make a video.

what about the spring

My garmin charger wil not charge. I think that the problem is with the charger connector that plugs into the gps. I unscrewd the cigarette adapter side and the fuse in in tact (also the red light still goes on) and ideas how to fix a bad connection on the other end?

My charger assembly popped apart on me last night and I found the ring, the screw collar, and the tip. Also found a spring. Can't find the fuse. I am assuming the screw goes in first, then the new fuse sits on top of that, then the piece is screwed together? Can you confirm that? Thanks. By the way my Garmin is the 260 Nuvi.
