On location video images and stills were taken by Andrea Clearfield in Lo Monthang, which include members of the community Kheng Lhamo, Yandol Dolkar and Pema Dolkar. Image of Andrea Clearfield was taken by Katey Blumenthal.

Andrea Clearfield's commission was made possible through: the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia Alan Harler New Ventures Fund; a gift of the Pennsylvania Girlchoir class of 2010, and from Emilie Carr, in memory of Mildred Owen; and is supported in part by grants from the American Composers Forum, Philadelphia Chapter, the Archie W. and Grace Berry Foundation, and the George G. and Elizabeth G. Smith Foundation, Inc.

I want to correct Alan Harler here that the Loba dialect is not a tibetan dialect. Loba is a tribal or ethnic group in Upper Mustang or Shangrila located in the northern mountains of Nepal. Although much of the culture and tradition is very much influenced from Tibet-now part of China, Mustang or the Loba community is a part of Nepal and all Nepalese citizens. I still believe the people here are little messed up or misunderstood with what they they are dealing.
